Securitas Technology Ireland are currently recruiting for an Smart Hands Technician based in Galway.Specific Knowledge:An understanding of Electronic Security EquipmentBasic I.T Computer SkillsWillingness to learn and develop core skills on Electronic Security EquipmentHighly professional in manner and attitude.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Willingness to learn and keep up with industry trends and new developments.Full clean driving license essentialProfessional Experience:Customer focusCommunication skills – both written and oral (report writing)Ability to work under pressureTechnical knowledge baseGood administration skillsCompetent use of Smartphone & AppsTeam playerResponsibilities:To maintain intruder alarm, access control and video surveillance systems to the required standards and regulations across our customer sites.Drive excellent customer service by working with our Service Manager and Service Desk Co-Coordinator’s by utilising the Smartphone Apps to delivery completed maintenances on customer systemsAccountable for all aspects of van stock, safety equipment and training, must be flexible in working out of hours and be presentable and professional in front of customers.Undertake planned maintenance work.To provide assistance to lead engineers where second person jobs are requiredMeet all Health, Safety and Quality requirements for self and ensure team member compliance.Any other reasonable task as assigned by your manager.Benefits:Full-time 36 hours a week contract of employment with the ability to work up to 48 hours per week 24 hour EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) free confidential counselling and advice supporting our employees in a number of areas.
