Currently recruiting a Services Lead for their materials management team. Proven track record in people management and experience of quality systems, standards, and procedures essential. Knowledge of hazardous materials an advantage. Excellent training provided.RoleManaging & leading an onsite team consisting of shift leads, factory coordinators and general operatorsGoal setting, performance management and performance appraisal of this team Reviewing forecast and incoming data streams to ensure the customer's forecasted demands are accounted for within onsite inventory levelsRegularly monitoring and reviewing the onsite services operations to ensure the process and resources are being used efficientlyEnsuring all elements of the competency assessment program are adhered to and monitoring the progress of the teams and assessorsManaging the Onsite services Health, Safety and Management Systems and the customer maintenance program Responsible for identifying and selecting suitable vendors that can oversee the critical aspects of the maintenance program Work closely with procurement to ensure vendors are assessed and set up appropriatelyLeading projects that will contribute towards improved productivity or cost savings RequirementsExcellent communicator with good presentation skillsProven track record in people management Excellent planning skills, attention to detail, motivated by results and processSound knowledge of quality systems, standards, and proceduresIT skills essential - Microsoft package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of hazardous materials management preferredKnowledge of Health & Safety principles preferred.
