<p>Temporary (1 Year Fixed-Term) Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Neurology</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Purpose of the Role:</strong></p> <p>This post will support the 3 Consultant Paediatric Neurologists based in CHI at Crumlin who provide “around the clock” access to Sub-Specialist Consultant provided medical advice and care for children with neurological problems. The National model of care for Paediatrics contains, in it's neurology chapter a recommendation to increase the number of Paediatric Neurologists in Dublin to 6-8 Neurologists (1-2 per 100,000 children to serve the new children's hospital as a national referral centre).</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Eligibility Criteria</strong></p> <p><strong>Professional Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Mandatory:</strong></p> <p>a) Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of Paediatrics <br> <strong>And</strong></p> <p>b) Two years certified postgraduate training in Paediatric Neurology</p> <p></p> <p>The Consultant must, at all times while continuing to hold office, continue to be registered with the Medical Council of Ireland.
