<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Product Technologist</p> <p><strong>Reports to: </strong>Technical Product Introduction Manager</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Drogheda, Co. Louth</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Role Overview:</strong><br> <br>The key focus for Product Technologist is to work as part of a cross-functional team, ensuring the timely introduction of new and improved products into the marketplace in line with new product briefs. Understand and communicate customer requirements to the team, ensure that products meet quality standards, comply with regulation and are produced efficiently. Additionally, Product Technologist will conduct and coordinate line trials to test and optimize production processes. This role will support innovation and drive value engineering to ensure WaterWipes remains a market leader.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Role Deliverables:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Planning and coordinating line trials for new product launches or process improvements</li> <li>Developing trial protocols and ensuring they are followed accurately</li> <li>Monitoring trial data and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement</li> <li>Communicating trial findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders</li> <li>Collaborating with R&amp;D, production, and quality assurance teams to implement changes based on trial outcomes</li> <li>Ensuring that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements</li> <li>Identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise during line trials</li> <li>Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in product development and production</li> <li>Training and mentoring Operations online trial procedures and best practices</li> </ul> <p><em>This list is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or amendment.</em></p> <p>​</p> <p><strong>Experience and Qualifications:</strong>​</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent</li> <li>You will have a minimum 2 years’ experience related to the New Product Introduction function in a FMCG environment.</li> <li>You will have a strong understanding of manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain, &amp; product validations</li> <li>Strong planning skills.</li> <li>Strong issue identification and problem analysis, with the ability to create and execute solutions based on the gathered data.</li> <li>Strong technical competencies in packaging science, including knowledge of corrugate substrate.</li> <li>Proven experience working as part of a project team</li> <li>Experience with SAP would be beneficial.</li> </ul> <p>#WWINDEED</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p>
