Keep reading to find out more.Why this role is important to usAs a core member of our Financial Reporting team, you will be working with a team of dedicated financial reporting professionals to deliver high quality financial statements for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. The role will give exposure and the opportunity to build strong relationships across functions internally and directly with our clients, auditors and other providers involved in the process typeset providers, translators.What you will be responsible forLead the financial reporting process for your assigned clients from planning, financial statement oversight and review, audit management & oversight, financial statement comment review and processing, board approval and filing.Preparation of the audited annual and interim financial statements with the outsourced service provider in accordance with standard operating procedure, relevant working guides, in compliance with relevant accounting standards and the relevant regulatory disclosure requirements. Regulatory Filings - assist any regulatory reporting filings on behalf of State Street Ireland that may be required from time.Review and update department operational processes, to ensure controls remain effective and account for dynamic changes in client requirements, mitigating operational risk wherever possible.Relationship building - manage and develop relationships with clients, counterparties and other external parties. you will act as a State Street representative to our clients.Client focus - ability to manage client's expectations and deal with their queries. Lead and participate in the ongoing transformational change in Financial Reporting across Ireland and broader regions.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Standard Operating procedure, identifying, documenting applying all operating controls to effectively to manage risk.What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role:Strong analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail are essential.Team skills – demonstrated ability to work with people at different levels both internal and externalExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritise.Proactive approach and willingness to continuously strive to learn and developAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.Education & Preferred QualificationsPossess a degree in business / economics, accounting or related discipline, having a number of years’ experience working in a similar environment or related environment is preferred but not essential.The role would also suit someone who is a qualified or part-qualified professional accountant (eg.
