PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:The Region North Talent Acquisition (TA) Team Leader Manufacturing will be responsible for driving and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy for a defined area of several manufacturing sites and Abbott Divisions within Ireland.You are leading and managing a team of TA professionals with who you assure to deliver against business hiring needs.In this role, you will act as a main point of contact and key talent adviser to internal clients, Hiring Managers, site leadership teams on talent acquisition process and efforts and will be expected to execute strategies to attract top quality talent into the organization.This role partners closely with Business and HR Leaders, as well as additional functional leadership of the organization.The position reports directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition Region North & Russia. Core Job Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to a team of TA professionals to attract high calibre talent that meets Abbotts business needs.Foster a continuous learning environment that champions a diverse and equitable culture and fuels talent internally within TA.Establish the most effective recruitment processes and selection practices.Execute with high quality hiring standards to meet diversity goals and provide exceptional candidate experiences.Elevate Talent Acquisition’s capabilities through innovation and best practices via model, process, people, and technology approach (MPPT).Deliver full cycle recruiting yourself for a selected number of positions on mid senior or leadership level or to support the team in hiring peaks. May use the additional support of a sourcing specialist or a contingency search partner as required.Use cost-effective recruiting channels, implement direct sourcing initiatives, and create innovative campaigns to attract the best talent for your business in scope.Own and manage the relationship with internal clients at Senior Manager, Director, and Site Director level to drive partnership, business excellence and industry learning for your team.Have excellent command of reporting as well using and presenting data by utilizing Abbott HR & TA systems, Power BI and MS suite to educate and influence clients. Leverages data to drive team performance to reach goals and to gain valuable insights for local strategy.Support and lead project work by driving and executing against key expansion plans or functional projects. Support local and regional partner relationship manager initiatives as appropriate and partner with the broader EMEA Talent acquisition team on cross-country projects and initiatives.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilityReporting Structure ManagerHead of TA Region North and RussiaNext Level ManagerEMEA TA DirectorDirect Reports 4-8 reports typicallyIndirect Reports0Experience & Education:Minimum 6+ years of recruiting experience with a minimum of 3 years inhouse TA experience in a matrix environment. Minimum University Degree or equivalent with combination of education and work experience.Full cycle recruitment experience in healthcare manufacturing or manufacturing industry and across multiple job functions within the industry environmentFor external hires Team leadership experience over a single contributor team or indirect leadership over resources assigned is mandatory. For internal candidates proofed indirect leadership to a project or matrix team is essential.Experience of developing marketing campaigns, direct sourcing strategies to engage attract and nurture talent.Fluent English language skills required, another EMEA language would be an asset.Capabilities: Ability to work autonomously with a strong focus on high-performance standards and continuous improvement while at the same time able to achieve results through others and creating a motivating and purposeful team performance culture.Leadership Capabilities to make informed decisions, motivate and be a role model to peers and team members and manage team and individual performance in a timely manner.
