Your new company Our Client is a leading international bank that provides fund administration, custody, and trustee services to global investment managers. They are committed to ensuring compliance with the highest standards of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and best practices. I am searching for a Lead S ubject Matter Expert in AML in transfer agency to join their team based in Dublin Docklands. Your new role You will be working in a Senior Position responsible for the clearance of their periodic review. Your role will include: Performing customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on existing clients, including verifying identity, source of funds, and beneficial ownership Monitoring and periodic reviews of transactions and activities for potential money laundering risks, and escalating any suspicious cases Conducting periodic AML assessments on the bank's policies, procedures, and controls Providing AML guidance to staff and stakeholders Keeping abreast of the latest developments and trends in AML regulations and best practices Act as a checker for medium and low risk cases. Lend support to the team from an AML expertise perspective. Assist with procedural uplifts. Provide training to new members and less experienced team members. Escalate matters of concern. Support client escalations. Assist in maintaining management information and status updates. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will have: 5+ years AML experience in Transfer Agency A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related fieldExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsA high level of attention to detail and accuracyA strong sense of ethics and integrityA team player attitude and a willingness to learn and grow The ideal candidate is a Senior subject matter expert in AML in transfer agency and a Team leader with the ability to run day to day priorities to deliver the AML periodic review back log 2022 and 2023 from a regulatory perspective and also lead the 2024 periodic review to meet our regulatory requirements. This company is based on the Dublin Docklands, and they currently work in a hybrid format of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
