The Role Delivery of amazing service and consistently high standards at all time. Maintain and improve Bar standards to ensure a quality service. Assist in developing a friendly and efficient service maximizing food and beverage revenue.  Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations. Preparation of bespoke and signature cocktails. Be on the floor during entire shift to ensure coverage. Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times. To ensure all guests are served with a polite, friendly and efficient service at all times. To deal with any customer queries, requests, complaints and compliments in a professional manner and to notify management of same. To understand fully and be able to describe accurately all dishes/drinks on the menus and cost of same. Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible. To be responsible for the bar HACCP. To manage an effective stock control system ensuring that all items are secured and requisitioned in accordance with the correct procedures. To carry out bar stock takes as required. At the end of your shift you are responsible for ensuring that your float and cash are accurate and balanced, cash sheet must be signed by yourself and the cash lodged in the safe. Any discrepancies must be explained to Manager on Duty. To be responsible for any irregularities that may occur on the cash register you are operating during your shift. The Person Previous hotel experience in a 4/5-star hotel property is preferred. Customer focused individual with effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment. Fluent English and excellent communication skills. Approachable with ability to train and develop team members effectively. Micros Experience would be preferable. Ability to work with and support colleagues to deliver agreed objectives.
