Ongoing training, appraisals, and career progression opportunities within this large company   Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job:    Ensure the store runs efficiently and smoothly. Ensure store standards across the shop are maintained by getting the best use of your management team. As a manager looking at areas to improve and manage costs without affecting service or store standards  Work with internal stakeholder management, such as the head of HR, and resourcing team to attract and retain the best staff for your site, talent spotting, coaching, and developing your team.  Generating financial reports, analysing and reporting any discrepancies to the relevant department/Regional team.  Take full responsibility for the Health & Safety and food safety of the store, make regular assessments and follow up on action plans  Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job:  Proven ability in managing a diverse retail offering within a grocery retail environment, mainly areas like F&V, Deli, Bakery and Butchers  Commercially astute in regards to analysing waste, sales, labour hours, and margin figures Strong leadership experience required, problem-solving with staff, motivating teams, and managing difficult situations with staff who are not performing.  Excellent organisation skills are required, as well as experience delegating and demanding results from staff and your management team to achieve overall success.  Good working knowledge of Labour Law, Health and safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
