QHSE Construction Manager - various pharma projectsLocation: Mobile Dublin / LeinsterDuration: PermanentWelcoming applications for the position of QHSE Construction Manager. In this role, you will conduct regular site visits, assure the business the right standards are in place, undertake regular audits and monitor progress against the site improvement plans. You will develop strong working relationships with operational teams and together identify improvements and practical solutions. Work closely with the wider QHSE team to support operations and where appropriate support and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators and customersDay to day of the role·Working across site operations, ensuring a consistent approach on how sites are supported and audited.·Working with the Head of R&A, RDs and GMs on the frequency of site visits depending on the risk profile. ·Support the drive of a pro-active culture by actively supporting the operational teams including solutions and sharing good practice. ·Working in partnership with other R&A advisors, RDs, GMs to ensure consistency and understanding key priorities.·Actively support the Improvement programme by engaging with the operational teams and supporting them in the development and review of the projects. ·Lead the implementation of the improvement programmes within the respective area. Ensure buy-in from your operational teams to support the effectiveness of the delivery. ·Ensuring there are touch points at all levels to ensure appropriate communication and influence within the operational teams. ·Management of stakeholder expectations ensuring all activities are in line with improvement programmes and R&A Strategy. ·Take ownership for internal and external audit programmes to ensure the effective delivery of this·Carry out trend analysis to identify areas for improvement and where operations require further support. ·Lead and support the event investigation depending on the severity. Review the quality of investigations carried out by the operational teams to ensure the route cause has been identified. Where appropriate support Head of R&A on producing a performance review (lessons learnt). ·Liaise with regulatory authorities /auditors and/ or customers. ·Working with operational teams to ensure improvements are identified and incorporated into site improvement plans. ·Feedback to the operations on their R&A performance including corporate objectives (leading & lagging indicators) ·Work with Head of QHSE to agree/develop priorities, escalate where significant risk or event has occurred - update on progress of implementation of the improvement projects. ·Assist and support in mobilisations/ acquisitions to ensure these meet with the QHSE standards i.e. VMRRequired skills for this role:·BSc Degree in Occupational H&S, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent·Fundamentals of Risk Management (IRM)·Environmental Certificate IEMA ·Internal Auditor Training ·Experience of different operational activities. ·Managing Process Performance / Managing Change and Continual Improvement (CQI) ·Experience in line management and development of a team.·Experience of different operational activities ·Communication skills, ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels·Experience of implementing successful change programmes.·Appreciation of all aspects of R&A including H&S, Environment and Risk. ·Motivated to drive improvements within the business to achieve a pro-active culture.
