This global professional services organisation is hiring a Finance Manager to work with their client in Dublin 2.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager – Management and Financial Reporting is responsible for overseeing the internal management and statutory reporting for the organisation. This individual will take ownership of running the month end close processes and consolidation of financial reporting.The role is responsible for overseeing the annual audit with the external auditor. The role is responsible for overseeing the preparation and consolidation of the organisation’s annual budget process as well as contributing to the development and implementation of system enhancement, reporting enhancement and control frameworks.The individual will also be key to ensuring robust controls are in place and that there is a continuous enhancement of the controls, training and guidance material and other finance processes.The Finance Manager will support the Financial Controller in the smooth running of the Central Finance function including liaison and coordination with all other Finance areas. The Finance Manager will focus on management accounting control and reporting.Financial Management Management and development the management and financial reporting team proactively taking ongoing steps to optimise business processes and build team capacity;Preparation of annual financial statements and audit files for the external audit;Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month end management reporting and business partnering to the Executive and as required for the Board, Audit and Risk Committee;Management and enhancement of weekly, monthly and annual controls and assist in development and enhancement of control procedures and matrices;Ensure timely and accurate completion of the annual budgets and coordination across finance areas,Manage and oversee the insurance coverage of the organisation including working with the relevant insurance broker to complete an annual renewal process and monitor and report on ongoing insurance matters;Manage and oversee the fixed asset management and reporting – working with custodians to ensure accurate safeguarding and reporting of fixed assets;Support the development of the accounting system and controls;Monitor expenditure carefully against budget and drive a ‘value for money’ ethos within the central finance team;Automate and integrate efficiencies within the team and processes and enhance reporting and KPIs for senior management review;Ensuring compliance with all taxation requirements;Lead monthly financial meetings with project managers;Monitor the administration budget allocation including business partnering with relevant cost centre managers;Complete detailed monthly headcount reporting and forecasting including liaison with HR on latest recruitment plans;Developing and enhancing staff performance and teamwork within a safe and supportive working environment;Ensuring that policies, procedures and processes are in place to support strategic objectives and comply with relevant corporate governance requirements;Ensuring that the professional and other training needs of staff are assessed and met;Effectively manage service providers while maintaining good working relationships;Develop, manage and report high-quality financial management reports, financial analysis and key performance indicators; andSupporting finance and non-finance teams in maintenance and enhancement of monthly reporting and analysis. About the person Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience in industry an advantage;Highly motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detail;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;An effective team player, who demonstrates excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
