As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionSupport the client's Directorate in the development of the client interface strategy which covers the entire project lifecycle, identifying, planning and documenting how the various contracts, systems and stakeholders shall interface and collaborate during the delivery, including the Major Infrastructure Contracts and other Core ContractsReview and consider the Interface Agreement currently being developed by the client and its impact on the development of the client's interface strategy, and where necessary consider, suggest and implement any changes required to both the client's interface strategy and the Interface Agreement to ensure the successful deliveryEnsure that relevant departments within the client are consulted when reviewing and developing the interface strategy and Interface Agreement for the client, particularly where there are issues with external stakeholder and/or points of integration with other client projects and programmesShare, communicate and collaborate with the Project Delivery Partner in the implementation of the interface strategyCoordinate the inputs and manage the interface with any external stakeholders as it is delivered and in line with any agreements in place between the client and the external stakeholdersIdentify all key interfaces and ensure effective management arrangements are in place to ensure the scope of the interface is clearly defined, understood and that boundaries between interfacing work packages are clear on responsibilities / ownershipCoordinate all projects / work packages and maintain effective communications with interfacing stakeholders to achieve required delivery requirementsPlan and execute in accordance with all HSSEQ, scope, time and cost parametersOversee, where required, the physical site security of the client's operations (, security guards, CCTV etc.).Provide technical guidance and support to the interface team in managing an efficient delivery for the clientCoordinate with the wider project teams for works in progress, agreeing specifications and standards, construction supervision and testing requirements, providing recommendations for final acceptance of completed worksProvide input into the relevant project management processes and proceduresEnsure clear coordination with other aspects of the projects (, electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural design) to ensure interfaces are functionalQualificationsExperience 15+ years’ experience with at least 5 years’ experience interface management / construction management / project management experience in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale and complexityFurther demonstrated experience / knowledge of the following is required: Managing delivery planning of projects through the project lifecycle from concept to handoverManaging integration of complex projectsManaging contractor, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment (including NEC contracts)Delivering within regulated and unionised environmentsDriving and leading a positive safety cultureWorking within safety critical and regulated environmentsDriving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standardsDealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reportingAdditionally, the Interface Manager will be required to possess the following skills:Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and teams within a construction environmentAbility to manage technical outputs to drive efficiencyExcellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to create a collaborative culture across the project teamAbility to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service deliveryAbility to deal with and resolving unforeseen risks and issuesExcellent stakeholder negotiation and management skillsFormal Education Qualifications Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area , engineering, construction, project managementLevel 9 Masters in relevant field would be advantageous (or equivalent masters)Practicing / Training / Compliance Certification Six Sigma or equivalent preferableProfessional Memberships• SCSI / RICS, CIOB, IEI or similar, CIArbAdditional InformationWhat we offer you:Full time, permanentCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsPensionCar Allowance 27 days Annual leave,2 Company days & 1 volunteering day Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesOur people share our Purpose and Values.
