Description Summary: Scope, & Impact:CPS (Commercial Products Supply) is a key part of the Advantaged Supply Chain of the Technical Function of The Coca-Cola Company. CPS manufactures concentrates and beverage bases for sale to bottling partners all over the world. This global organization manages a network of 18 manufacturing plants in 17 different countries.The Global Lab Transformation Director will drive the lab of the future strategy of a network of 18 CPS Laboratories across the globe. This role sets the strategic direction to transform laboratories within the CPS Laboratory Network working closely with CPS manufacturing operations.Develop a clear vision and strategic plan for transforming the laboratory into highly efficient, technologically advanced labs.Lead the implementation of new laboratory automation systems, data management tools, and other innovative technologies.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of transformation projects.Drive accelerated, transformative change by implementing standardized and risk-based lab testing approaches, simplifying procedures, and promoting synergy across the network.Ensures the effective and efficient implementation of Laboratory Management System (LIMS) and management systems as defined in KORE & EtQ to ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and practices of The Coca-Cola Company and regulatory bodies.Laboratory Governance and Standardization: Develop and lead the deployment of new laboratory standards; ensure harmonization and standardization of laboratory processes.Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop and implement standardized reporting tools and metrics to manage laboratory performance and transform data into value.Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure support for transformation initiatives and alignment and with overall CPS transformation journey. This includes working closely with other KO Laboratories in a networked organization to align on lab system transformation. The role has direct impact and influence over the development of the most optimum CPS lab strategy and implementation plan in line with the global TCCC lab network.Incorporate external perspectives through active engagement and benchmarking within the industry to maintain innovative practices and technologies.The role includes working closely with the plants leadership team to:Advance in the lab transformation journey which is aligned with the local plant strategy and CAPEX plan.Foster network ways of working to co-create and pilot potential solutions.Seek continuous improvements within the team on technical development topics, including but not limited to data analysis and problem solving.Communication FocusThe job requires effective internal communication with all laboratories and sites working seamlessly with plant lab Managers, QSE Managers and General Managers. The role also involves liaison with other TCCC labs, other CPS functions, external bodies, and participation in global technical groups.ExperienceThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of technical/lab operations experience, including experience in transformation and change management. A deep understanding of analytical technologies, technical data processes, and system knowledge are required, along with a demonstrated ability to relate business and technical requirements. A MSc. or PhD in Chemistry or Microbiology is highly desirable.
