Our client is an established, Irish registered charity with a legacy spanning over 60 years. Our client offers a range of support services including education in schools and professional counselling. The successful candidate will have prior experience in fundraising management and strong knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation’s growth and impact by implementing strategic fundraising initiatives and cultivating donor relationships.Salary: €50k DOEKey Responsibilities:Developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals.Identifying and pursuing diverse funding opportunities including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraising events.Continuously evaluating fundraising performance and adapting strategies as needed to optimize results.Researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.Managing grant reporting requirements while ensuring compliance and timely submission of reports.Cultivating relationships with existing and prospective donors to deepen their engagement and support.Regularly communicating with donors through personalized outreach, newsletters, and events.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and maximising fundraising potential.Developing and maintaining partnerships with community organisations, businesses, and stakeholders.Representing the organisation at community events, meetings, and forums to raise awareness and build relationships.Leading initiatives to engage volunteers and community members in fundraising and outreach activities.Collaborating with the marketing team to develop fundraising collateral, including appeals, brochures, and online campaigns.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement within the nonprofit sector.Proven track record of successfully securing grants, donations, and sponsorships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing and public speaking.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement fundraising plans aligned with organizational objectives.Proficiency in fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite would be desired.
