Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in road maintenance to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of road maintenance projects, ensuring the integrity and safety of our road networks. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough assessments of road conditions, identifying areas in need of maintenance or repair. * Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, equipment, and personnel for maintenance projects. * Design cost-effective solutions for road maintenance, considering factors such as materials, budget constraints, and environmental impact. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in all maintenance activities. * Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays to maintain timelines and quality standards. * Conduct quality inspections and performance evaluations to assess the effectiveness of maintenance efforts. * Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. * Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable. * Proven experience in road maintenance, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role. * Proficiency in industry-standard software for engineering design and analysis. * Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to road maintenance. * Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
