To date the group has delivered over 350MW of wind capacity, and currently has 680MW of onshore, 2GW of offshore in addition to 300MW of energy storage in its development pipeline. Within the GES division we support our inhouse development team but also have a wide array of clients that we work closely with on all facets of their renewable energy aspirations. We are looking to grow our planning team with energetic, passionate and self-motivated people. We are looking to meet Planners with all levels of experience, from Planning Graduates, right up to experienced Planning professionals. What we are looking for from an Experienced Planner:    A minimum of 2 years post-graduate planning experience, ideally in a consultancy environment. Have a qualification in planning (IPI or RTPI Accredited) Experience of working on and leading large renewable energy planning projects from inception right through to completion. Have good working knowledge of the Irish planning system, and the interaction of relevant planning and environmental legislation, both national and European. Experience of mentoring junior members. Hold a full driver's licence.   Duties will include: Lead on the delivery of planning applications for renewable energy projects. Oversee and review inputs on renewable energy planning projects from inception to completion including interaction with project stakeholders, clients and other project team members. Undertake review of planning assessments, reports and project planning inputs. Act as main point of contact with client representatives to progress projects effectively. Engage with relevant authorities and stakeholders in environmental and planning projects. Deliver fit for purpose project outputs within set deadlines.
