<p>The Maryborough Hotel are currently looking for a new addition to join them.</p>
<p>We have an opening for an <strong>Evening Porter </strong>for 3 to 5 nights per week.</p>
<p></p>
<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Clearing and setting up of meeting rooms and function areas as per function sheets. </li>
<li>Making sure each room is matching to what is needed. </li>
<li>The cleaning of the public areas of the hotel including, but not restricted to reception, stairways, restaurant and bar floor.</li>
<li>The cleaning of back of house areas, where needed as well as any other areas required by management. </li>
<li>Responsibility for the front entrance and outside of the hotel and ensure that it is clean and tidy at all times. This includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish etc.</li>
<li>To have a full understanding of the hotels’ fire procedures to ensure safety of all staff and guests at all times.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in work in hospitality.</p>
<p>The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.</p>
<p>A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.</p>
