The RoleWe are currently working with one of Irelands leading seafood companies who are seeking to hire a HGV Driver to serve their collection points in the Dublin and Wicklow region.Key Responsibilities:Operate and drive HGV rigid vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.Follow all traffic laws and regulations.Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing and handling.Verify the accuracy of goods against delivery documentation.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the roadworthiness of the vehicle.Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and timesheets.Maintain a logbook and record details of working hours.Communicate effectively with the transportation team, and customers.Report any delays, issues, or incidents promptly.Requirements:Hold a valid and clean HGV driving license.Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)Proven experience as an HGV rigid driver.Familiarity with local and national traffic regulations.Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
