Job Title: Associate Director - SustainabilityLocation: Connaught House, DublinReports to: Head of SustainabilityRole PurposeAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Senior Sustainability Consultant, or Associate Director to join our market leading Sustainability team at CBRE Ireland. You will become part of a rapidly growing team and the role provides opportunity to develop networks, skills and new consultancy products.The successful candidate will work across a diverse project portfolio. Reporting into the Head of Sustainability, your role in part will be deliver of sustainability advice across different class uses, predominantly commercial and industrial, new construction , refurbishment and fit-out.You will also be involved in supporting a wider service offering to advise across net zero carbon and sustainability strategy workstreams. The candidate will have an eye for detail and entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to build and manage relationships with external clients and internal colleagues within CBRE, engaging across the property lifecycle to offer strategic, site specific sustainability advice.This role is for a candidate with experience delivering sustainability frameworks and certification through design, construction project and operation phases alongside client facing and communication skills.Key Responsibilities‒ Manage sustainability projects from concept, through construction and to handover stage‒ Develop sustainable building strategies at a building and group level‒ Undertake LEED assessments across commercial, retail and industrial schemes‒ Delivering Life Cycle Assessments for building certifications and net zero carbon plans‒ Support Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design strategies‒ Understand and apply current and proposed sustainability related legislation‒ Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally)‒ Prepare technical reports‒ Mentoring and managing team members‒ Responsible for managing projects ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.
