We have an exciting job opportunity for Lift Supervisor / Tester to join the KONE Dublin team. We would like to speak to candidates from the lift industry with managerial and/or testing experience. Depending on your skills, experience and aspirations, we can discuss Lift Installation Supervisor, Lift Modernisation Supervisor or Lift Supervisor/Tester positions.Key Responsibilities & SkillsSite supervision:Accountable for the project deliveryAccountable for Site SafetyResponsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects (waste handling, hazardous material, minimisation of travel)Accountable for the financial result of the projectParticipates to the sales/installation hand-over and validates the term of the order received from the customer together with the salespersonPrepares the overall modernisation program and resource planningResponsible for planning and organizing the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site and placing the orders to subcontractors and Non KONE factory material suppliersResponsible for site preparations and follow-up of site readiness (Prontoform & Site Absolutes)Accountable for use of correct KONE methodsEnsures cost control as per action plans during budget, and pre-calculated CM2% towards achieving the R80 targetsResponsible for administrative activities of the project including daily human resource management (absences, time sheet review/approvals) and reports project progress (schedule, installation hours, fitter time sheets, budget and risks) to his superiorsResponsible for maintaining project documentationUpdates information to company management systems (e.g., S-plan milestone updates)Collaborates with Accounts Payable / Controlling to ensure site activities are planned and executed in accordance with contractual payment terms and actual payments received.Resolves technical problems during the projectCustomer and Sub-contractor Relationship management:Accountable for customer satisfaction and quality of installationAccountable for Sub-contractor quality and Safety performanceSingle point of contact towards the customer regarding site management, responsible for internal and external communication during the projectAims at achieving allocated sales targets and add-on sales and variationsDevelops and maintains a cordial and professional relationship with the sub-contractors People management / Leadership:Accountable for people (site operatives) development and wellbeing and managing the performance of the team and individuals.Determines objectives, plans as well as organizes, communicates, controls, and motivates the teamIdentifies field operative training needs and manages training plansKey Skills & experiences:Installation/modernisation portfolio managementProject management skillsTeam management and managing performanceCustomer relationship managementSolid knowledge of installation methodsSafety and quality managementMust be capable of taking responsibility for Health and Safety on site and have detailed knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.To demonstrate a willingness to learn and update their knowledge and skills as required by the CompanyGood written and spoken EnglishWe offer a competitive salary + Benefits.Read more on
