Apply good skills and ensure quality standards are maintained for products both in the factory and at customers' premises. Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. Work from drawings, manuals, schematics, etc. ️ Proven experience working on assembly of mechanical equipment and Electro-mechanical systems. Contribute to fitting, building, or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation. Good electro-mechanical skills and assembly of parts or components to build a new or repeatable product. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision. ️ Sound knowledge of engineering tools and equipment including torquing. ‍ Maturity and engineering practicality. Mentor and develop team members. Report any substandard/malfunction or defective parts. Select, measure, and modify components to ensure component fit. Carry out MTOs and order materials for allocated tasks both internal and for site works. ️ Assemble prototype and development units with Supervisors and managers. Ensure working environment and equipment are kept clean, tidy, and in good condition. Work to deadlines and strict adherence to Quality and H&S principles. Positive attitude with flexibility to work overtime as required, and ability to fit in as part of a team. Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.Profile ️ Skilled and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Fitter with a proven track record in assembling switchgear or equivalent engineering environment. Strong technical knowledge to read and interpret drawings, manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. ‍ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent electro-mechanical skills and practical approach to engineering tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. ️ Adept at using engineering tools and equipment with a good understanding of safety protocols and company policies. Proactive in identifying and reporting substandard or defective parts. Capable of selecting, measuring, and modifying components for optimal fit. ‍ Team player with the ability to mentor and develop colleagues. Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
