Responsibilities for the Cost Manager Role:Conducting comprehensive background research, data collection, and benchmarking.Generating accurate cost estimates and plans.Compiling and refining tender lists.Crafting procurement documentation.Scrutinizing and analyzing tender submissions.Preparing tender reports.Managing variations and overseeing change control processes.Negotiating on matters of lesser financial complexity.Performing cost checks and interim valuations.Drafting monthly reports and scrutinizing final accounts.Upholding a consistent and high-quality service delivery.Collaborating with clients, contractors, designers, and other stakeholders.Proactively contributing to market enhancement and pursuing growth and income opportunities.Aiding in the development of successful responses to secure additional commissions.Contributing to the sustainable growth of the business in alignment with strategic objectives.Requirements for the Cost Manager Role:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Strong team player with exceptional IT skills.
