Your new company This architectural practice works in pharma, hospitality and the commercial industry and are seeking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing team to assist in the design, management and delivery of projects. They work closely with staff to provide opportunities for learning, including exposure to all aspects of project design and management in a friendly and supportive environment. Your new role As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will lead the technical team on various commercial and hospitality projects, proficient with Autodesk Revit, BIM protocols and confident in Technical Detailing and Specification using NBS Chorus. You will manage and organise the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages. Effectively communicate with consultants, specialist suppliers and Local Authority/Statutory Bodies. Compile technical information for use in the planning and design of projects. Prepare applications for approval by regulatory bodies. Develop specifications for tender and construction work. Visit sites to check on progress and inspect work. Draw up a project brief and programme of work. Assist in the development of tender documentation. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will hold a Degree in Architectural Technology and ideally 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in commercial projects and familiarity with hospitality is a plus. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and strong experience in BIM. Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and on-site experience. Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities, site meetings and problem-solving.
