Everest’s value commitments include: providing an inclusive work environment that offers employees the opportunity to further their development, supporting our communities through the donation of time and financial resources, maintaining our integrity across all aspects of the group, and being an industry innovator to solve global complex risks.This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract in Dublin.Role Purpose: To work as a member of the Delegated Underwriting Authority team:Monitoring the BDX mailbox and distributing work to BPO provider.Answering BDX queries from internal colleagues and BPO providerManagement of retrieval of both internal and external sources for missing bordereauxEnsuring adherence of Employers Liability Insurance Regulation on Bordereaux formatIntarga Admin – chasing of outstanding tasks and general day to day administration of system.Dealing with queries from UW’s and other internal stakeholdersHelping with Portal downloads for BDXRepresentative for all DUA Credit Control queriesAttend Coverholder/MGA Meetings to discuss credit controlAssist Underwriting Assistants in managing Credit Control for DUAKey Accountabilities: Day to day responsibility of all incoming Risks written and Premium Bordereaux, as appropriate and to work with BPO provider to map and upload bordereaux as appropriate to bdx system.To process LBS bordereaux into DA-SATS promptly and efficiently and deals with any queries arising.To ensure that all new and renewing contracts are mapped within 90 days of inception of the contract in accordance with the BPO provider.To chase up all outstanding overdue Risks Written and Premium (where relevant) Bordereaux not received with brokers, Coverholders and within Porta Assist the EGM Credit Control Manager in the day to day administration of Credit Control analysis and tasks relating to Coverholder / MGAs, Consortia and Lineslips.To assist team staff with monthly committee reporting and provide reports as and when required based on Bordereaux management.To be the day to day contact point for BPO provider queries emanating from bordereaux processing with business stakeholders and brokers.To assist DUA Team Manager(s) with any ad-hoc reporting, analysis and assistance as may be necessary from time to time.Skills & AbilitiesExcellent organisational skills.Problem Solving Ability.Must be numerate.Must demonstrate analytical skills.Must be an excellent communicator.Must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and take on new work tranches if and when required.Must have Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot Tables, Vlookup’s, Sumif’sProfessional Experience:Work towards insurance professional qualifications desired.Experience in insurance company desirable.Competencies:The role holder will be required to embrace the Everest Core Values: Collaboration, Thoughtful Assumption Of Risk, Execution, Humility and Leadership.
