System and specialist administrator (f/m/d) for a position at the Berlin State Office of Criminal Investigation - LKA 71 - MDSD network implementation group (mass data and dirty data network) Reference number: 2-026-24 Pay grade: EG 12 TV-L Full-time with 39.4 hours per week (part-time employment may be possible) Location: Gothaer Str. 19, 10823 Berlin (with very good transport connections) The Berlin police are setting up a so-called mass data and dirty data network (MDSD network for short) to support investigators in analyzing large amounts of evidence data. As a modern, central platform, this isolated network offers not only the provision of specialized evaluation and analysis software and support, but also far-reaching potential for other future applications. In order to provide our colleagues with efficient and up-to-date access to their digital evidence, we are working on expanding the MDSD network on a daily basis. In doing so, we are not only treading familiar paths, but also breaking new ground and inviting you to become part of our team. This area of responsibility awaits you: Collaboration in the special and unusual requirements of setting up, commissioning and further developing the MDSD network to support investigators in evaluating large quantities of evidence. This includes in particular: the linking and integration of various specialist applications in our Windows domain administration (esp. AD, GPO), the administration of user management and specialist applications, the maintenance of file/access rights, the maintenance of documentation, Participating in the further development of various concepts, testing and maintaining IT solutions and system components and support and training. You have ... a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable course of study or a comparable qualification with relevant specialist knowledge and many years of practical experience (at least 3 years). Comprehensive and proven knowledge and experience in the administration of Windows and Linux systems, very good knowledge of (Powershell) scripting and GPOP, Knowledge and experience in the operation and monitoring of server systems (e-mail, web, file) as well as experience with backup techniques, Basic knowledge and experience with virtualization technology, CITRIX, firewall, network technology and storage systems (NAS), Knowledge of operating AD domains under Linux, if applicable.
