We have been Building Excellence for over 150 years by building trust, certainty, and value for our clients.Mental Health Lead - IrelandThe Occupational Health and Wellbeing team is recruiting for a Mental Health Lead. This role, based in Ireland, will be integral in bringing about positive change in terms of our strategic approach to mental health and wellbeing. We currently have a team of three full-time professionals within the occupational health and wellbeing team, which sits within the broader HSSQ (Health, Safety, Sustainability and Quality) function. To summarise our three-pillared approach to mental health and wellbeing:1) Promote2) Protect3) Respond.This role will be pivotal across all three pillars, allowing us to be more preventative in our mindset, more attuned to early intervention, but also having the supports and resources in place when needed so that we can respond in a timely and appropriate manner. You will be:Providing in-person support and training to our site-based teams and schedule regular visits to sites so that employees understand who you are and what you do. Supporting employees as they navigate complex events or challenges, they may be experiencing, either at work or in their personal lives. Identifying appropriate clinical and non-clinical pathways for employees who may require support. Developing our team of peer supporters by providing upskilling opportunities, informal debriefing sessions, non-clinical help and support, and running awareness campaigns to raise the profile of our peer supporters. Building strong working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, including Business Unit Managing Directors, Project Leads, Supervisors, Functional Heads, HR Team, and Wellbeing Champions. Providing critical incident/trauma-related response and work with relevant internal and external groups to ensure that the appropriate clinical and non-clinical supports are offered. Creating and delivering evidence-based training to various groups within the organisationDriving awareness campaigns around de-stigmatisation, help seeking behaviours, supports/ resources, and positive lifestyle habits. Developing protocols for responding to imminent risk situations and offer support and guidance to Line Managers/Supervisors, relevant HR Team members and other internal stakeholders on early intervention and preventative strategies. Delivering non-clinical onsite support such as peer to peer support, informal debriefing, coaching to relevant people. Representing Sisk externally on mental health working groups, committees, and other external bodies. Building strong relationships with external organisations, such as EAP, occupational health service providers, relevant support bodies and charitable organisations. You will have:Qualification in Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health Nursing is a requirement for the role.
