About the TeamRecommendation & Traffic team endeavours to enhance the recognition and traffic coverage of the search functions, secure online safety and ensure experience of search recommendation products on TikTok.Our team achieve these goals by closely working with product management and R&D teams as well as data delivery team to cover the whole process of search recommendation, launching new features in different countries and regions, opening new portals on TikTok to facilitate search, simulating search demand and optimising keywords strategies, including content strategy, recommendation strategy, localisation strategy, etc. What will I be doing? - Responsible for improving core Prod ops metrics in regional markets, including but not limited to search growth, content expansion and user experience. - Expand regional candidate pool with time-sensitive queries and core verticals in the target market. responsible for putting hot/fresh queries, including but not limited to news/events/verticals that meet product demand.- Monitor regional search data, evaluate quality and effectiveness of online recommendation, understand search needs and preferences based on metric infructuation, provide localised analysis and suggestions for the product ops team to optimize strategies.- Manage regional user feedback for search recommendations, take actions and record cases for periodical analysis to improve user experience accordingly.- Work closely and flexibly with data delivery teams and XFN stakeholders to achieve regional targets together.- Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive content, including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news. What should I bring with me? - Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Journalism or data/content/culture-related majors.- MUST have at least + 3 years' relevant work experience in the tech industry, content product & operation in search.- Excellent language skills, profound understanding of the market culture/user/media content, in English ( US/ GB market) can be used as the working language.- Good at data analysis and project management experience is preferred.- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating across business units.- Familiar with search engines and social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc.- Strong collaboration sense: Team player, goal-oriented, ready to embrace change and challenges, able to work in a global team efficiently. Important to know & big plus to have- Must have experienced with the market required: US/ GB.- Flexible with work schedule and different time zones- Global scope; and willing to work on shifts, which includes weekends and public holidays.
