Our client, an established South Sligo GP Medical Practice is recruiting for an experienced Practice Manager to join their team. This is a challenging and varied role reporting directly to the Principal GP. A flexible attitude to the role is required as needs change. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Operational ManagementCoordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the GP practice.Implement and optimise administrative processes to enhance efficiency.Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.Team Leadership:Manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Conduct regular staff meetings and provide training as needed.Financial Management:Monitor and manage the practice's financial resources, including budgeting and financial reporting.Patient Services:Oversee the patient registration process and appointment scheduling.Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction.Address patient concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.Health Information Management:Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.RequirementsManagement experience is essentialExperience working in a GP Practice management role/ Primary Care setting is desirableSocrates practice management software is desirableGood people management skills are also essential
