Job Description Finance Governance & Assurance Manager   â€“ ( SM / AD level ) A market leading property management company are looking to hire an experienced finance professional to independently review and provide oversight over their accounting function. The successful candidate will provide professional, high quality and independent assurance to senior leadership team around the integrity and performance of the Property Management Accounting function. Role responsibilities will include: Establish and execute the annual surveillance plan to independently assess the property management accounting function ensuring conformance with SLA’s and contractual obligations Create a heatmap and understand revenue streams by client, service line and risk to enhance transparency inform the leadership team of oversight activities Develop a risk register to include all key operational and strategic risks Solicit feedback on the performance of the Property Management Accounting function from key clients and other stakeholders and use feedback to inform future plans and challenge conventional thinking on client service delivery Provide recommendations for implementing best practices to drive improvement in the quality, efficiency and accuracy of client financial reporting and report preparation processes Take ownership of the actions required to put an annual verification process in place that provides assurance to senior leadership that effective controls are in place Requirements Qualified accountant with 8 years PQE working in auditing and advising on governance, risk and controls Demonstrated experience in overseeing accounting functions, implementing process improvements, completing month / year end close activities for multiple entities Strong knowledge of financial principals, practices and relevant accounting standards Must have the ability to act autonomously, excellent organisational, planning and project management skills in order to lead complex projects while also supporting the overall performance and development of the finance function The credibility and personal presence to understand and integrate into the business with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Benefits If you feel you meet the above criteria and wish to be considered for this position, please apply through the link provided or alternatively reach out to Stephen via sgilmore@elevatepartners.ie to schedule a confidential conversation to discuss the compensation package on offer. Requirements Hold a professional Accountancy qualification ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Have 8 + years of experience with at least 3 working in an Internal Audit function Experience operating in a regulated financial services environment is highly desirable Experience in providing best practice project management (eg using APM or six sigma) is also desirable People management experience and excellent communication skills and a dedication to perfection and expertise in coaching
