Unique opportunity for a Procurement lead coming from a construction background to become a member of the core Project Team working to renovate and expand a prestigious Dublin institution. The Procurement Lead will manage the planning, sourcing and contracting of all elements of the Project. In collaboration with the design and QS teams, they will develop procurement and contracting strategies to bring Project tenders to market in compliance with Government-mandated procurement guidelines, liaising with external stakeholders, legal partners, bidders and the C&AG throughout the sourcing cycle. ​This project is in the pre-design stage and is expected to last 4 years. There is hybrid working with flexibility required depending on the project needs.Procurement Lead responsibilities include : Advise on project procurement strategy to meet Cost, Risk, and Delivery requirements.Analyse project needs to create a procurement project list.Prioritize tasks with project owners focusing on budget, deliverables, and risks.Develop sourcing and contract strategies aligned with guidelines.Coordinate procurement activities with stakeholders for project success.Coordinate stakeholder meetings for project input.Provide guidance to staff and consultants accessing frameworks.Generate reports on project progress and spending.Ensure compliance with Project Management Office processes.Support stakeholder and user needs.Liaise with government procurement offices and agencies.Review processes for maximizing value for money.Manage audit engagement processes.Essential Skills and Experience:Degree in construction-related field.Postgraduate or procurement qualification advantageous.Minimum five years relevant procurement experience.Knowledge of public procurement frameworks essential.Experience in works and facilities programs essential.Excellent analytical and organisational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.​If you would like a confidential discussion and
