About the jobAbout the Opportunity As QC Software Instrument Specialist, you will provide Administrator support for Laboratory / Quality IT systems such as Empower and Lab X Administrator onsite. You will ensure that QC systems are maintained / administered and used in a GxP compliant manner.Our Team in Waterford: The multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus is located in Waterford on Ireland’s southeast coast. Diversification continues to bring new products to Waterford and the expanded site portfolio continues to create new opportunities.Main responsibilities:User Access Management of Quality IT SystemsMaster Data and Change Management of Quality IT SystemsVersion Release Management of Quality IT SystemsInterface management for systems within scope of roleTechnical / End User support for the Waterford siteGeneration and update of system related documentation (e.g. Change Control, URS, Functional Specification, IQ, OQ, UAT, PQ, SOP’s etc) and project execution to the required schedules as per the Site Digital/IT RoadmapProactively identifying and implementing continuous improvements, best practices, efficiencies, regulatory requirements in a GxP mannerMaintenance of key reporting tools and trackersWork with relevant cross-functional project teams and stakeholders on monitoring and reporting of key KPI’sEnsure that systems in his or her area meets Sanofi corporate and manufacturing/laboratory site standardsIdentify and implement continuous improvements, regulatory requirements, best practices, and efficienciesAbout youExperience: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a GxP environmentSoft skills: Excellent facilitation and communication skillsWorks well with others within team and cross-functionallyInitiative – able to work in a self-directed manner to see issues through to completionHighly motivated and excellent problem solverTechnical skills:High level of technical knowledge and abilityBackground in advanced use of Laboratory/Quality IT systems and computerised laboratory instruments in a GxP setting e.g. in Key User, Administrator, SME rolesData Analytical skills e.g. proficient at using Excel, QlikView/QlikSense and advanced digital / data analytics tools to analyse and present system related dataGood working knowledge of Laboratory GxP processesEducation: 3rd level degree qualification in Science or IT, or equivalent significant years of experience in a similar roleWhat we offerAn international work environment, in which you can develop your talent and realize ideas and innovations within a competent teamAn individual and well-structured introduction and training of new employeesProfessional career opportunities in dynamically developing working environmentsA generous package including flexible benefits, and are committed to helping you have a healthy work-life balance throughout your career with usWe have highly subsidised restaurant with free tea and coffeeA newly refurbished gym is available onsite for a small and highly competitive annual membership feeYou will be based in our Waterford site which is accessible from M9Parking available onsiteIf this description resonates with your skills / experience and sparks your interest, we encourage you to take the next step and apply.
