We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client’s team as a Assistant Housekeeping Manager at their prestigious 5-star hotel on a full-time contract in Doonbeg, Co.Clare. Key Responsibilities: Maintain five-star standards through consistent monitoring and fair accountability. Manage staffing levels and assignments, coordinate departmental meetings, and uphold hygiene standards. Coordinate with Front Office on guest needs and room assignments. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met throughout the hotel. Oversee laundry services and maintain relationships with suppliers. Stay updated on industry standards and implement efficient workflow systems. Address guest concerns promptly and prioritize guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments, particularly Front Office. Adapt to varying schedules as needed in the hospitality industry. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel, with previous experience in a supervisory role. Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience. Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills. Highly driven, motivated, innovative, and organized in your work ethic, always striving for excellence. Flexible in working within a culturally diverse team, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
