Fitter/Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:Installation, maintenance and servicing of plant & equipment including (but not limited to) pumps, burners, dosing systems, pipework and related servicesSupport the installation of new projectsMaintaining and servicing plant, machinery and equipment on siteAssisting in new equipment installation and maintenance at other associated Enva/ customer sitesMaintaining appropriate records in relation to the aboveTo carry out checks, inspections and audits as directedTo conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licenceTo adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all timesTo ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirementsTo communicate any issues that arise to the Production Manager immediatelyTo attend meetings, company meetings, training courses etc. as requiredTo be willing to work flexibly and to carry out other duties as may be requested including over time.The Ideal candidate:Qualified fitter or sufficient mechanical maintenance experience required, i.e. Fás/ City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical time-served Apprenticeship with Junior and Senior Trades an advantageMechanical background such as mechanical fitterRelevant/ practical/ hands-on experience in the areas outlined, ideally in a manufacturing/ production environment Experience with equipment such pumping equipment, Burners and air control systems would be advantageous.Ability to work on own initiativeAbility to perform repairs and maintenance on both a reactive and planned basis, and flexibility to meet business needs and customer demandsFull clean driving licence essentialGood communication skillsBenefits: Competitive pay package, company vehicle provided, group life insurance, company pension scheme, paid holidays, health and wellbeing initiatives.The above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role.
