DescriptionTeam Horizon is seeking a HR Specialist for our client’s manufacturing facility in the West of Ireland.Why you should apply:This is an excellent opportunity to join a world class manufacturing operation, with an outstanding track record of reliably delivering high-quality medicines to patients around the world suffering serious illnesses.There is a strong culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the company to strive for solutions that improve health outcomes and dramatically improve people’s lives.Our client is developing the capability to produce all its medicines, helping to ensure continuity of supply of our medicines as they expand internationally.What you will be doing:Provide General HR System Support and ManagementProject Support focused on streamlining of HR processes/systems including HR Metrics, Key Performance Indicators, Time and Attendance, Communications, Presentations, SharePointResponsible for co-ordination of employee induction & onboarding process Prepare monthly HR metrics relating to areas of responsibility to management and division as required.Support HR Connect Payroll team to ensure positive employee experienceSupport site HR and Ireland HR projects as requiredSupport recruitment & selection across the siteSupport & lead engagement and well-being programmes across the siteSupport the design, development and implementation of employee engagement programs and HR Initiatives relating to site HR strategy. Work with respective department managers to ensure Local/National, European and Corporate HR policies, procedures and laws are been adhered to.Develop and co-ordinate HR communications programme which ensure harmonious employee relations.Support the Performance management process for respective siteParticipates in maintaining an accurate job documentation system by conducting job analyses for jobs as needed, determining status and appropriate grade and auditing the system on a regular basis to ensure that job descriptions exist for all active jobs.Proactively identifies potential employee initiatives by participating in functional management and employee meetings on a regular basis.Conducts and supports employee training on a variety of HR related areas.Working closely with our HRConnect team and site leaders to ensure appropriate employee documentation, changes to employees' status, pay and benefits, annual performance appraisal process, employee relations investigations, employee discipline, and employee terminations to maintain compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.Conducts all aspects of the job with appropriate level of confidentiality and sensitivity to employee and organizational data and not disclosing confidential information.What you need to apply:Degree qualified in HR or relevant discipline (ideally masters) with CIPD membership preferred.2+ years of relevant HR/Business experience with a strong understanding of core HR policies & procedures & strong understanding of payroll Strong Systems aptitude (Workday, Time and Attendance Systems, Excel, Power Bi)In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law.Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to guide business leaders.Ability to develop an extensive network of support to facilitate the completion of assignments. Project management/co-ordination experience is highly desirable.
