Senior Transport Project Manager

:The Senior Project Manager in Transport will manage the planning and delivery of projects from Inception through Planning, Design and Construction.Responsibilities:·Ensure RPS quality and management procedures are complied with.·Establish project objectives and develop project plans, budget and schedule in compliance with RPS procedures.·Build trusting relationships with our Clients.·Maintain a safe working environment for staff under your control.·Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular performance reports on completion status, programme and finances.·Liaise with and coordinate project delivery with the leads of the various technical delivery teams.·Identify project risks and deviations from programme or budget and prepare plans for mitigations.·Design and deliver with Sustainability at the core of achieving project objectives.Key Skills & Attributes:·Track record of experience as Project Manager in Transport projects.·Experienced in the design of Transport projects.·Experience in Urban Schemes, Active Travel and Greenways preferred.·Minimum of 10 years’ experience across design and construction phases.·Strong communication and presentation skills.·Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.·Proven ability to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same time, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines.·High resilience, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation skills.·Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of camaraderie, integrity and trust, among multination and multicultural teams.Qualifications:Level 8 degree in civil engineering; Chartered engineer status; a Project Management qualification is a bonus.What’s in it for you?
