The successful candidate will work with the entire Irish Distillers’ team to efficiently coordinate and execute events, Irish Whiskey Academy visitors and ad-hoc visits to the site here at Midleton Distillery Experience.The role of Event & Specialised Visits Co-Ordinator is a fun and creative role. If this sounds like you – come join our team!This is a full-time role, working over any 5 of the 7 days per week, including some evening work.What’s involved? Be the primary point of contact for external and internal event enquiries at The Midleton Distillery Experience.Taking full responsibility for all events and specialised visits from the planning right through to the final stagesWork with our on-site bar, experience, and catering team to plan and execute all event bookings.Implementing work processes to ensure all events and specialised visits run efficiently.Working closely with our Irish Whiskey Academy Tutor to coordinate and oversee visits to the Irish Whiskey Academy for visitors from Irish Distillers’ head office in Dublin, Pernod Ricard group employees and external visitors for the purposes of brand education and marketing.Manage the annual Irish Whiskey Academy calendar of events.Coordinate and manage visits for our Irish Distillers’ Production Ambassador Panel (Master Distillers, Blenders, Cooper etc)Carrying out administration tasks for all Events and Irish Whiskey Academy VisitsWhat are we looking for? 3rd level qualification in Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or related discipline2 years previous experience within the Events Management/ Hospitality industry.Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and digital.Proficiency in MS Office.Strong relationship management skills.High standards of organisational skills, with great attention to detail.Calm under pressure and professional at all times.An enthusiastic individual, with a positive attitude.
