We promise innovative engineering solutions to all our clients, meeting the most technical requirements with ease, no matter what the challenge.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Fabrication Coordinator located in Dundalk, Ireland.The role involves ensuring on-time finished component delivery to our assembly teams through our CNC programming, steel and copper fabrication, welding and powder coating equipment. What a typical day looks like: Assisting the Fabrication Manager in project planning and execution and overseeing fabrication processes and ensuring component delivery timelines are metCoordinate logistics and delivery of fabrication products across all sitesProvide direction and leadership to the fabrication team ensuring appropriate visibility for production requirements.Drive process improvements with a focus on improving efficiencyManaging each Team Leader’s work, output and ability to report to the Fabrication ManagerManaging Fabrication team members to ensure standards of behaviour and discipline are met and maintained whilst assisting with recruitment, training and developmentEnsures all employees are working to the correct Health & Safety standards and that all equipment and the fabrication environment is maintained and operated in a safe mannerThe experience we’re looking to add to our team: 3+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication environment with a strong working knowledge of CNC machining and metal fabrication processes, 2+ years’ experience in management / supervisory capacityProduction background who thrives on a demanding and challenging environmentProficient IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and ProjectEffective communicator to senior and middle management with excellent planning and organisation skillsExcellent people skills and ability to implement performance measures to ensure production standards are met.Experience in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor) is beneficial, however the ability to read technical drawings is essential.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: An exciting global organisation, working on projects for many well-known brands across different industries.Challenging projects within a professional and modern work environment.A long-term role with many opportunities to learn, grow and develop – we turn jobs into careers.Anord Mardix offers a competitive salary, company pension scheme and the opportunity to develop your career and progress within the company.TH10#LI-DNPJob CategoryOperations
