Job DescriptionCommodity (Category) Manager - North Dublin.Ref No: DT18204County Dublin, Republic of IrelandCompetitive salary Commodity (Category) Manager - North Dublin.In this role you will be part of a global Commodity team, and part of a broader Global Procurement function.As a Commodity Manager, you should have an entrepreneurial mindset based on commercial knowledge and familiarity with commodity markets. You will be responsible for a defined direct material field, including the pooling and procurement of commodities, developing and implementing commodity strategies, interacting with suppliers and cross-functions to ensure the resilience & sustainability of the supply chain.You will drive the advancement of the supplier base to support the growing demand at the company's manufacturing locations.You are expected to perform end to end supplier risk management to ensure delivery, quality and cost targets are achieved today and in the future.You will act as focal point between sourcing, manufacturing operations, quality & engineering and lead cross-functional projects.On an ongoing basis, you will interact with the commodity management team and align on demand pooling, price negotiations and global commodity strategy.Interested applicants should be:Analytical and structured in your problem-solving approach.A seasoned negotiator and contributor to the business profitability.Self-determined, goal oriented and able to prioritise in an agile environment.Have a proven ability to drive assignments to full implementation in collaboration with cross-functional partnersExperienced in supplier capacity, process, and capability assessment and able to identify improvement potentials.A good communicator and team player with the drive to implement changes.Ability to build strong and influential business relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.You should have:BS/BA in related discipline (QQI level 8)Master’s degree or MBA is a plusMinimum of 8 years' professional experience in related fieldWillingness to travel up to 20%
