To make sure that patients using the endoscopy unit receive excellent nurse care while adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Carries out doctors orders for all assigned patients; gives prescriptions and treatments safely and appropriately. Alerts the relevant medical and nursing staff to any changes in the patients condition. Considers the patients response while evaluating the care provided. Tracks nursing care in the hospitals Meditech system and all allocated patient records. Requirements Possess a PIN and be fully registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands general division of the register of nurses. One year of acute hospital setting experience following registration. A nursing strategy that is patient-centered. Reputable clinical and professional competence Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for the position.
