Backend Tech Lead (Node.js) Playrix is in the global top 3 in terms of profit among mobile game developers. We have created the hit games Gardenscapes, Fishdom, Manor Matters, Homescapes, Wildscapes, and Township. They have been downloaded by more than two billion players, and have a monthly audience of 130 million people. We are looking for a Backend Tech Lead for our server team. They will be responsible for the development of current game mechanics and the creation of new features for all of Playrix's games. You will face tasks ranging from developing architecture to implementing and operating services in a high-load environment — 75K RPS. This requires experience in developing high-load services and working with DynamoDB, S3, and SQS. Team: 8 NodeJS Middle+ and Senior developers. Our stack: NodeJS, AWS, DynamoDB, Graphite, git, Kibana. This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus). Find out more .ApplyTasks Producing technical and product initiatives Managing the team and developing engineers' technical competencies Interacting with game development teams and forming requirements for game features Designing and programming the server side of games for high loads — 75K RPS Monitoring and ensuring technical reliability of game servers Designing and developing API for our games Programming automation scripts for game operations Requirements Experience managing a team of 3+ developers, mentoring and developing the team's technical competencies Experience leading technical and product initiatives (ES6+) 5+ years of experience in backend development, 3+ of which are on Node.JS (ES6+) 2+ years of experience designing the architecture of high-load services and applications in the cloud Proficient knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) Experience working with cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS. Experience writing automated Unit, Integration tests Preferred Experience with DynamoDB and other NoSQL DBMS: Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB, etc. Experience developing in Python Participation in open source projects Our Perks Flexibility at work.
