Compliance and Due-Diligence Manager

A global Fintech operating within the crypto space are seeking a Compliance and Due-Diligence Manager to join their team. In this role you will support the Head of Compliance in Ireland as well as work with global compliance officers and departments across multiple time zones. Responsibilities: Support in the implementation and management of compliance programmes i.e. ML and TF, MiCA implementation and EU Travel Rule implementation. Aid the Due-Diligence team in the onboarding, re-review, and risk assessment of partners Act as an SME and point of escalation for the sales, account management and partner due diligence teams. Coordinate the timely investigation of STRs with the local FIU Manage regulatory and strategic compliance projects in coordination with the Head of Compliance Support training of employees on AML/CFT regulation and legislation. Provide compliance related management information (“MI”) and reporting to the Head of Compliance Ireland Undertake other duties as delegated by the Head of Compliance Ireland. Requirements At least 5 years’ experience onboarding, reviewing and risk assessing partners, merchants, or business customers Similar experience in the second line of defence (2LOD) Compliance team at a licensed financial institution, or in a consultancy/regulator is preferable. Strong knowledge of Irish regulation and requirements including the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 High problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution. Highly collaborative and able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders. Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
