Warehouse Operative (On-Site in Co. Tipperary, Ireland) Unit 11N, Ard Gaoithe Business Park Clonmel, Co. Tipperary E91 C3W8, Ireland   Full-time, Monday-Friday, on-site JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE: Undertake the checking and receipt of all incoming goods in line with Company Goods Inwards processes, identifying errors or damaged items/packaging, communicating with internal personnel and suppliers as necessary. Ensure the timely and accurate booking in of goods received under Purchase Orders placed with suppliers, using the computerized systems. Ensure the timely and accurate booking in of faulty goods received from customers, using the computerized repair systems. Ensure all booked in goods are correctly identified and moved in a timely manner to the correct team within the operational area, moving them by hand, wheeled trolley, or forklift truck. Professionally respond to queries and requirements raised by internal personnel regarding incoming goods, challenging them as appropriate and referring to line Manager if necessary. Pick line items on sales orders as per Company processes, making the goods available for packing and dispatch.  Pack goods sold and repaired hardware ready for shipment, mark and attach correct documentation in line with IATA, courier and Company requirements to ensure compliance with tracking and safe systems of shipment. Ship items off internal computerized systems and Repair Tracking systems, recording all details as per Company processes and communicating the details as required. Book the collection of goods from the warehouse and off-site locations using approved courier systems, ensuring delivery/ collection addresses are correct. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when checking incoming goods, scanning, and inputting data ensuring all actions required are accurate and fully complete. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and contribute to the completion of common task/goals set out by the line manager. Keep work areas clear and clean, segregating waste in compliance with Company environmental management (ISO14001) requirements, arranging collection of waste with approved waste contractor. Assist with planned regular and ad hoc stock checks as required, reporting completion and details of any variances. Deputize and provide cover for absent colleagues as required, regularly refreshing knowledge of their role / processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively. Undertake forklift truck driving duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and Company warehouse guidelines observed. Oversee scheduled forklift truck maintenance checks by external service engineers. Champion and comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Build open and transparent communications both internally and externally, i.e. with key customers, clients and other partners Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS: Demonstrate (by practical test) keyboard skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as carrying out Internet searches and extracting information. Manual work confirming ability to meet the physical performance requirements of the role. Organizational skills, multi- tasking, working to deadlines. Effective communication in writing (e-mail), over the phone and face to face. Knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain, distribution management systems, and supply chain sustainability. TYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS: Independently collect and analyze information when dealing with problems and routine tasks, to develop recommendations for process improvement. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Primary language used in daily operations is English. SUPERVISION: No Staff supervision is required. DECISION MAKING + REASONING: Follow written procedures and processes, also have the ability to use initiative to quickly answer questions and solve problems. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: General; Be helpful, respectful, approachable and team oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Functional relationships with Purchasing, Operations, IT, Technical Services, Customer Service and Finance.
