Scouting for new packaging materials and technologies for potential use by Henkel. Laboratory testing for packaging and technology related projects with internal and external partners. Maintenance of records and reports of all work programs and presentation of results to stakeholders when required. Where required, participation in internal and external working groups on sustainable packaging. Working in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals. Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of packaging legislation and policy requirements. Acting in compliance with both the legal requirement and the Henkel and Adhesives requirements resulting from the SHEQ policies, standards and procedures and code of conduct for the functions performed. ·       YOUR SKILLS Degree or equivalent in Packaging, Mechanical or Polymer Engineering. 3+ year experience in a packaging science & technology related role and/or experience in packaging sustainability an advantage. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for packaging. Open minded and motivated individual with desire to learn. Strong IT skills; familiarity with Microsoft Packages.
