The Crewit team is looking forward to receiving your CV.Key Responsibilities: Manage and deliver key water and wastewater infrastructure projects and oversee the full project lifecycle including design, procurement, administration and handover stagesDevelopment of preliminary designsDevelopment of design drawings, technical reports and calculationsEnsure thorough knowledge and understanding of the contract for all assigned projectsEvaluation of Client Specifications as well as liaising with Client and Client RepresentativesProvide support to the Project ManagerLiaise with suppliers to obtain quotations ensuring full specification compliancePrepare technical submissions and reports for Client approvalGenerate contract programmes of workMonitor and update the progress of projects against the Contract ProgrammeSchedule resources and contractors to ensure the delivery schedule is metPrepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for upcoming worksImplement the Project Quality Control proceduresFinancial tracking of projects and reportingSite liaison and with cub-contractors and Client Project & Resident EngineersSite surveys and generation of works packagesMaintain and update the Site Safety Files ensuring full compliance with current HSA regulationsAttend site for safety audits, project supervisionUpdate drawings for construction with vendor packagesDocument control for all aspects of the ContractMaintain a variation and change order logCompile the O&M ManualsThe role will involve both offices based work and frequent site visits. The office location is in Co. Carlow with site visits varying depending on the contract Requirements: Minimum of 6 years Mechanical / Electrical Engineering experience which will have been in a Project Engineering roleKnowledge and experience of the water and wastewater industry is preferredA working knowledge of AutoCAD with the capability to update drawings for construction and to coordinate between vendors and contractorKnowledge and experience of plant design, construction and commissioningExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience of managing contractors and sub-contractors for the delivery of projects.Strong technical, delivery and commercial skillsDemonstrate a pro-active, practical & flexible approach to work. Work closely with all parties to meet the business objectives Location: Co.
