The broad range of product technologies and use models results in a varied, continually interesting, and challenging work environment.Job DescriptionThe PCG is looking for a Graduate Design Evaluation Engineer to join the Evaluation team. The Design Evaluation engineer is a key member of the new product development team, from the design stage to product release.Responsibilities include:Developing a hardware and software measurement system, including hardware design and LabVIEW software development.Prototyping of digital interfaces/blocks via FPGA development pre-silicon.Micro modules prototyping support of laminate designs for full signal integration products.Participate in PCG WW Evaluation improvement initiatives.Hands-on debug of new products to quickly evaluate functionality and identify bugs.Silicon characterization: carrying out bench top performance measurements and standard robustness tests.Analyzing data and generating reports.Go to market support activities e.g., CFTL, articles generation etc.Working closely with Design, Test, Applications and Marketing Engineers to understand and overcome problems and work towards product releaseThe Design Evaluation role provides the opportunity to work in a technically challenging and highly rewarding environment.The ideal candidate should have:Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.A keen interest in mixed signal electronics, from both hardware and software perspective.Excellent problem-solving skills.Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment.Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential.Programming experience: LabView experience would be an advantage.Some PCB design and schematic entry experience.Hands on experience with bench top measurement equipment would be an advantage.Job Req Type: Graduate JobRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
