The team We are looking for an experienced privacy lawyer to join our European Data Protection and Privacy team. We are looking for a regulatory lawyer to join our European Privacy team. Job Description: - Advise and support on regulatory engagement and investigations regarding data protection matters; - Assess and advise on data security incidents and best practice under GDPR; - Assisting with and driving large cross functional projects aimed at proactively bolstering GDPR compliance; - Support our privacy compliance programme, policies and procedures for TikTok in Europe; - Support Regulatory matters relating to Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act; - Support litigation colleagues in management of privacy related litigation. Actual Minimum Requirements: - European or UK qualified lawyer with privacy experience; - Highly organised, self motivated and capable of driving forward challenging projects independently and/or as part of a team; - Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal colleagues and other cross functional stakeholders; and - Comfortable providing sound advice under tight deadlines and managing competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience advising clients on privacy regulatory requirements relating to digital products and new technologies desirable; - Privacy experience at a law firm or in-house (in house experience preferred); and- Prior litigation experience is a plus.
