Here at the award-winning 4-star Glasshouse Hotel, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a full time position & includes shift work & weekend work. The role includes running breakfast shifts, lunch shifts & / or dinner shifts. Shifts are 7am -3.30pm or 3pm - 11.30pm. The role involves leading and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We require our team members to be customer focused & ensure every guest receives a great service by going that extra step. Duties Include: Working as part of a team while over seeing one area of our Food & Beverage Department while on shift Greeting of customers in a welcoming manner Ensuring the day to day operation runs smoothly Anticipating the needs of customers & handling requests Training of staff members & monitoring progress Following company policies & procedures Ensuring the highest levels of hygiene are maintained & that the food & beverage outlets & service areas are always clean & tidy The Ideal Candidates: Experience of 12-18 months in a similar role within a restaurant / bar environment is essential Ability to multitask. Flexible in their working hours. Fluent spoken & written English. Friendly with a good personality. Knowledge of POS systems & cash up procedures.
