Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.Main purpose of job: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and implementing effective maintenance plans and schedules for our facility , equipment and operations working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of our assets. They play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of packaging machinery and equipment within the business. This includes coordinating maintenance activities through the preventative maintenance program and CMMS , managing spare parts in conjunction with the compliance technician and collaborating with the Engineers seeking opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and equipment performance.Main responsibilities:Preventive Maintenance Planning through the use of CMMS and autonomous maintenance systems, developing and maintaining a schedule of preventive maintenance activities for packaging machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, reduce the risk of breakdowns, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Work Order Management: Creating and managing work orders for routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs. This involves prioritizing tasks based on criticality, resource availability, and production schedules.Spare Parts Management: Coordinating with the compliance technician to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables required for maintenance activities. This may include identifying critical spare parts, monitoring stock levels, and initiating procurement when necessary.Equipment History and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, maintenance logs, and documentation of repairs and upgrades.Shutdown Coordination: Planning and coordinating maintenance activities during planned shutdowns or off-peak production periods to minimize disruption to packaging operations.Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all maintenance activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including documentation, validation, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant standards.Performance Analysis: Analysing equipment performance data, such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR), to identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and uptime.Collaboration with Production: Working closely with production planner to schedule maintenance activities that minimize impact on production schedules and output, while ensuring the safety and reliability of packaging equipment.Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements in the maintenance planning and scheduling processes, including the adoption of predictive maintenance technologies, reliability-centred maintenance strategies, and other industry best practices.Health and Safety: Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance department.Contractor Management: Coordinating the activities of external contractors or service providers involved in maintenance and repairs, ensuring that they adhere to safety and quality standards.#LI-VR1Join us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
