We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.We are eager for talented Materials Management Technical Support individuals to join our team and contribute to our goal of making a difference to people’s lives. If you are looking for a challenging, rewarding career and feel you meet the requirements listed below we would love to consider you for a role at Eli Lilly, Limerick.These roles will require flexibility and ability to adapt to different areas Materials Management & warehousing/logistics in our new state of the art Logistics Centre, including inbound receipts, kitting, management of contract service providers and shipping qualification & execution. Main Purpose and Objectives of Positions:Design business processes for goods receipts of materials from vendors & third party warehouse Implementation & design of the business processes for kitting processes as material flows from warehouse storage to Production operations.Support the set-up of the ASRS (Automated storage and Retrieval System) and Vertical Storage Machine (VSM) business processes and integration with SAP eWM. Engage with RFQ process for selection of key service providers i.e., 3PL Warehouse, freight forwarder & Vendor managed Inventory.Lead the set up of 3PL Warehouse, including the design of business processes, service level agreement, identification of key KPIs etc.Support the design and execution of shipping qualification for shipment of frozen drug substance.Introduction of shipping business processes engaging with the designated freight forwarder Co-develop a paper free, digitally enabled, data integral Next Generation Biotech Logistics Centre whilst meeting all regulatory guidance.Post start up, provide daily operations support in the following areas - (i) receipts of inbound materials (ii) replenishment of kits for production (iii) general material flow through the Logistics Centre and (iv) execution of daily shipments Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement quality systems for Logistics Centre & materials management including creation of work instructions, SOPs, training material pertinent to receipt, kitting, shipping and general warehouse practicesDevelop & monitor daily performance of systems & KPIs, looking for trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.Engagement and relationship management with service providersEnsure all GMP requirements & Sarbanes Oxley controls which fall under the warehousing facilities are completed e.g. pest control, temperature monitoring, cycle counting etc.Participate in Quality & Safety Time on Floor (TOF) audits.Support RFQ process for selection of Freight Forwarder, implement associated business processes, ensure contingency qualification of shipping routes are in place.Understand transportation regulations including ADR/ IATA /Air Cargo Security Regulations to ensue site shipping processes adhere to these regulations.Focus on continuous improvement, process optimisations, streamlining work instructions & SOPs.Knowledge of inventory management system e.g. SAP eWMInfluence storage strategies based on capacity, safety stock strategies and segregation of materials.
