The Company is a market leader in Ireland and has a proven track record and a trusted reputation among professional installers and specifiers We are seeking to expand our highly motivated R&D team with a skilled Software Engineer to take a leading role in the continuous development and operation of our market leading SecureComm cloud service. The primary objectives of this position: As a key member of the R&D team within a busy, dynamic office environment, the primary objective will be to support the timely and accurate preparation of duties as listed below: Key responsibilities and duties are: Design and implement back-end software using C++ and C#. Support the setup and operation of production servers and services in AWS. Perform modifications on existing software to add improved functionality. Implement unit and system tests for automated testing. Follow standards and industry best practices to improve system performance and reliability. Create technical specification documents. Collaborate with engineers and service personnel to debug and resolve software issues. Provide technical assistance to other engineers as required. The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Software Engineering. At least 3 years’ experience development with C++ Experience developing for high availability and scalability. Good understanding of networking protocols Experience with Windows Server and Linux Experience with setup and operation in AWS Must be a good team player with strong communications skills.
